◆ Annual Meeting of China Flower Association Retail Trade Branch （CFR） ◆ CFR Member Meeting 1.with growers from Holland, Belgium, Ecuador, Columbia, Yunnan, etc. 2.with famous florists from Holland, Belgium, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc. ◆ Speeches 1.Mr. Jeff Rothstein, owner of "Floral Expressions" in Gainesville, Florida, has agreed to provide an informative seminar on How to be a more profitable florist. --------Mr. Jeff Rothstein started his retail floral enterprise in the USA over 25 years ago. He successfully grew his florist business into one of the top retail florists in America, with annual sales revenue of more than USD $1 million, through applying his management and marketing skills. Mr. Jeff Rothstein is not a florist designer, instead as a florist shop businessman, he focused on what he thought were mistakes of other florists, and developed his own flower shop management strategies including how to create new products and services for his customers. There will be a big allowance of time for “Questions and Answers” for domestic floral shop owners. Mr. Rothstein is very enthusiastic and he will be very happy to share his idea with the audience. 2.Mrs. Frances Dudley, CEO of Florists’ Review Enterprises will be invited to give a speech on “Floral Shop Management for Professionals with 10 or More Employees”. ------Florists’ Review Enterprises has. In addition to the 2 monthly magazine《Florists’ Review》 and《Super Floral Retailing》magazines, Florists’ Review Enterprises publishes two to four books each year and has become the industry leader in “how-to” design books. The company also sponsors two major contests each year. The Retail Florist of the Year Contest, cosponsored by Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association (WF&FSA), is currently in its fourth year and the Picture-Perfect Weddings Contest is in its eighth year. Both contests offer the opportunity for great prizes and special recognition in Florists’ Review. ◆ Flower Arrangement Show We will cooperate with Retail Trade Branch of China Flower Association (CFR), AFDU (Asian Floral Designer Union), Shanghai Flower Art and Arrangement Association and Flowerbbs.com to give a large scale flower arrangement show to consist the following 3 parts, 1.Flower Arrangement Live Show----Up till now, 4 sessions given by Korean florists, 4 sessions given by Japan florists have been decided. We are still trying to invite a Holland florist, a Belgium florist and florists from Taiwan to give wonderful dreaming shows. (We will try to provide a final schedule before Feb. 1st) 2.Flower Arrangement Art Show----There are more than 30 Korean florists and more than 30 Japan florists decided to come to the show to display their art work. AFDU will have a display area over 200sqm onsite to provide you a super chance to understand the latest Asian floral trend. CFR’s members will display together on a 300sqm area to create a floral wonderland. 3.Picture Show-----More than 100 fine pictures about the latest world floral design work will be displayed. Taken by Mr. Kim. Sae Tae, President of Floral Today, the audience will agree with us that the picture show will be the best way to know what happened in the world floral industry. ◆Grand Meeting of China National Forestry Machinery Association & Garden Machinery Professional Committee ◆Council Meeting of Shanghai Society for Horticultural Science ◆Council Meeting of Shanghai Flower Association Flower Market Branch ◆A seminar about upgrade of the Software for Shanghai Landscape Project Tendering, Reply & Project Value Analysis will be given by Shanghai Deli Software Co Ltd together with Shanghai Landscape Tendering Agent Co Ltd. The above 2 companies are under Shanghai Construction Committee and almost all the landscape develop and construction companies are required to use this software developed by Deli.
