A Yunnan Flower Enterprise Transported by Seamless Cold-Chain with Water and Decreased the cost 60%

In the past two months, Kunming Jinyuan Flower Industry LLC shipped 140 tons of fresh cut flowers in 20 containers from Kunming to Bangkok by road. The whole process uses seamless cold-chain water transport system, reaching the destination within 48 hours. The quality of flower was kept in good condition and the transport cost was 50%-60% lower compared with air transport cost.

See from these 20 containers, the land transportation costs of one kilogram of fresh cut flower was five yuan, and the price by air was 12 yuan per kilogram, which can save around 60% of the transport cost. As transport costs accounted for 30% to 40% of the goods value, if using land transport, Yunnan flower will have more competition in the international market.
