Q: What are the key dates I need to be aware of?
A: The 9th Hortiflorexpo China takes place Apr. 11-14, 2007 (Wed. to Saturday). Apr. 9-10 is Move in. And the Move out time is 15:00pm-22:00pm on Apr. 14, 2007.

Q: Where is the exhibition venue?
A: It will be in Shanghai Mart & Intex Shanghai. The address is 99 XingYi Rd., and 77 Xing Yi Rd.

Q: Where is the main venue?
A: Shanghai Mart will be the main venue. And almost all the foreign companies and pavilions will in Shanghai Mart.

Q: There are 2 main entrances in Shanghai Mart. Which one shall we take?
A: There are different entrances on West Yan ‘An Rd., and Xing Yi Rd. Visitors and Exhibitors of the 9th Hortiflorexpo China shall go to the entrance on Xing Yi Rd., otherwise it will cause you a lot of troubles to find the exhibition.

Q: How much does a booth cost in the 9th Hortiflorexpo China?
A: There are different areas in the venue. Please refer to http://www.hortiflorexpo.com/zhbjen.asp

Q: If we order Raw Space, what shall I be especially aware of?
A: If you order Raw Space, you will encounter some practical problems about your booth design, setting-up, rental of furniture, order of electricity, water supply, exhibits forwarding, ceiling height, size of lift, etc., please refer to http://www.hortiflorexpo.com/gdzsxzen.asp. Or you may contact with Intex Shanghai to avoid all the troubles on site.

Q: If we participate as an exhibitor, is there any other service we can enjoy?
A: Quite a few free and favorable service are provided by Show Management---Intex Shanghai. For more information please visit us at http://www.hortiflorexpo.com/09zsyhfwen.asp. With time goes by, more free service may provided, please always visit this website to know more.

Q: Will kids be allowed to visit this exhibition?
A: The show is only for trade visitors from Apr. 11-13, 2007. No kids will be allowed in the exhibition venue. Apr. 14, 2007 (Saturday) will be open to public. On that day, kids will be entertained when they are accompanied by adults.

Q: How do I ship my exhibits to the show?
A: Since there are strict Quarantine rules and regulations, all the foreign exhibits shall be forwarded by the official freight forwarder, ie., Dragon Link Enterprises Ltd. After the exhibition all the exhibits from abroad must be transported back or destroyed. Please refer to Exhibitor Manual which will be sent to you around Sep. or Oct., 2006 for more details.

Q: How do I order tables, chairs, other furniture, Utility services, including electricity, compressed air, water fill-up or drain, natural gas, telephone/Internet and audio visual other stuff for my booth?
A: If you order Raw Space you may choose a stand-fitting company as you wish to design the booth and supply you with all the tables, chairs and other furniture in your booth. But all the Utility services, including electricity, compressed air, water fill-up or drain, natural gas, telephone/Internet and audio visual shall be provided by the Official Contractor, ie., ViewShop Exhibits & Media Management (Shanghai) Co Ltd. Exhibitors will receive an Exhibitor Manual in September or October, 2006 containing service order forms, information on rental of all special services that are available.

Q: If there is a fire plug near or in my booth, what shall I do?
A: Congratulations! Because you will find you have bigger space than others to entertain your guests during the show time. But according to the Fire Protection Regulations, nothing shall be put in front of Fire Plugs.

Q: We are not so strong in our capital but we really would like to have more publicity during the show time, what shall we do?
A: In order to promote this industry, Intex Shanghai, the show management accepts all kinds of sponsorship, for example, some quantity of plants, flowers, bags, cut flower or cut leaf, some truss or component used in flower arrangement, horticultural materials, etc. You may call us telling us your requirement and we will work together to provide you a wonderful promotion solution.

Q: If I would like to invite some customers to my booth, what shall I do?
A: There are 3 ways
1. Please fillin “Asking for Visiting Tickets” in Exhibitor Manual telling Intex Shanghai, the show management how many entrance tickets you need. We will send the required tickets to you before the show.
2. Or you may ask your customers to visit us at www.hortiflorexpo.com to preregister. With the serial number or a print paper on the website, your customer can obtain his badge at the entrance of Shanghai Mart.
3. Or you may tell your customer your booth number. Ask him to register with his name card at the entrance of the venue. He can obtain his badge free of charge.

Q: How can I avoid my belongings stolen in my booth during the show time?
A: If your booth is in Shanghai Mart, please cooperate with security staff to band your bag and belongings to the desk or the chairs. If your booth is in Intex Shanghai, please rent safe boxes and laptop locks free of charge at the Furniture Rent on the first floor of the exhibition center.
